(Old legal support info: not likely to be useful, but may be a useful contact for some, somehow: #NoDAPL Legal Connect - coordinated support for arrestees: - The University of Colorado Law School American Indian Law Program is coordinating legal response for those arrested or injured in the protest against the Dakota Access Pipeline. http://standingrock.org/data/upfiles/media/images.pdf )
1/12/17 Water Protector Legal Collective - The WPLC has learned that law enforcement agencies in other states have attempted to contact and interview Water Protectors and allies after they have returned to their home states. Nobody can be required to answer questions from law enforcement and we strongly recommend that you do not. Water Protectors with open cases should not speak about their case to anyone but their attorney. We encourage everyone to read "If an Agent Knocks" for more information about how to protect yourselves and other activists from government investigation if law enforcement agents visit your home or workplace. All Water Protectors should inform their attorney or the WPLC at (605) 519-8180 if they are contacted by authorities in relation to water protection activities. https://ccrjustice.org/files/CCR_If_An_Agent_Knocks.pdf https://ccrjustice.org/if-agent-knocks-booklet https://www.facebook.com/Indigenousrisingmedia/posts/10154089565256218

KATIE KLOTH(KROW) 2/4/17 BIA Police violently attack and arrest unarmed water protectors at standing rock prayer camp. Will Barton 1:53 https://www.facebook.com/willo1533/posts/849846334649 2/15/17 On February 4, while supporting the #NoDAPL struggle, #WaterProtectorKrow (Katie Kloth) was assaulted and arrested by a Bureau of Indian Affairs officer (graphic video). She was walking on a public road, away from the Sacred Stone Camp, when she was chased down by the officer. It is believed that she was specifically targeted because of her ongoing involvement and visibility within the No DAPL resistance, which had resulted in two arrests on misdemeanor charges previous to this incident. Krow was also known at Standing Rock for being an advocate for creating a unified front in fighting the pipeline.
