12/26/16 The Split Rock Prayer Camp is holding ground in the fight the AIM Pipeline Expansion which would carry 342 million cubic feet of natural gas per day from the Marcellus Shale to New York state. Local officials claim the tribe "did not receive permission" to build a number of tents and teepees on land that the township has designated as a "Conservation Zone". We stand with all those who are reclaiming indigenous land. We need no permission. How can we be trespassers on our own land? Ramapoughs accused of putting up teepees without permits. The tirb has also been charged with moving soil without permission. - North Jersey Split Rock Prayer Camp https://www.facebook.com/CampOfTheSacredStone/posts/1827837330838630
3/5/17 Diesel spill at the Burdwood fish farm today has contaminated most of the Broughton Archipelago including many traditional clam beaches, during the ecologically critical herring spawn. Smell of diesel was strong throughout the area, even in the helicopter at 4000 ft altitude. It seems obious there is much more fuel spilled than the 1500 liters they are reporting (3000 originally).
